> The Kriega R25 motorcycle backpack has a quick release QUADLOC harness, which is our own tried and tested system, unique to the backpack industry.
> The Kriega harness is an innovative & extremely efficient load-carrying system designed for motorcycle riders and is the secret behind what many consider to be the best motorcycle backpacks in the world.
> Unlike conventional harness systems the load is carried on the hips & chest, transferring the weight away from the shoulders and thereby preventing the neck strain experienced with regular motorcycle backpacks.
> The unique Kriega 4-point harness places the load on chest & hips, which creates excellent balance and totally removes the strain associated with other types of motorcycle backpacks.
> Ergonomically designed with no arm restriction for long distance comfort, it is released with the push of two buttons (which can be operated with gloves on) also opens extremely wide, so no more fighting your way into your backpack - even when wearing bulky protective motorcycle clothing.
> Once fitted, the Kriega R25 hardly ever needs adjusting. And when it does it takes no more than a few seconds and can be performed without removing the backpack or your gloves.

The Kriega R25 motorcycle backpack is supplied pre-adjusted to level-2 on the harness straps. This harness position will fit the majority of riders. Adjust to level 1 for XS and level 3 for XL fit.
Step 1: Firstly push the uppermost harness strap back into the pack, or pull the loose end out, to release the harness-web tension.
Step 2: Shorten or lengthen harness by moving slider on web - equal both sides.
Step 3: Pull harness strap back out of pack, or slide it back in, to tension harness-web.
Step 4: Put on pack and fasten front 2 x harness buckles. Adjust alloy buckles on hip wings by lifting and pulling the nylon cord. Tighten alloy buckles so the wings grip the sides of your torso. The top harness straps should not be a close fit, but not too tight.
Increase capacity by 5 litres by adding a US-5 drypack. Reversible zip or mesh pocket (see US-5 link below)
Fitting instructions: Thread 2 x US-5 fitting straps through the square rings on the R25.
Increase capacity by 10 litres by adding a Kriega US-10 Drypack (see US-10 link below)
Fitting instructions: Attach the 4 x Alloy Hooks from your Kriega US-10 to the 4 x webbing loops on the sides of the Kriega R25 and cinch down tight.
Optional 0.5-litre harness pocket, which attaches easily to the upper harness of the Kriega R25 and is ideal for storing smaller items that you require quick access to (cell phone, cash, papers etc). YKK water-resistant zip and 3M Scotchlite reflective print (see Kube pocket link below)
Optional 3-litre Hydrapak reservoir. Fits in sleeve at back of main compartment (supported at top by Velcro loop, which can be threaded through the reservoir 'slide' closure) with tube routed out through the covered duct, centrallly located in top of main outer shell. Drink tube attached to harness with Velcro Tube Locator v2 component supplied free of charge on request (see 3L Hydrapak for more info).

The pack has very roomy main compartment and a second external compartment to store stuff in so you don't have to disturb your main pack for some small essentials. Love all the extra straps to keep the load tight and tidy with no loose strap ends. The harness is easy on, easy off even with gloves on and it keeps the load off the shoulders. The padding in the back next to you keeps stuff from poking the back making it comfortable to wear.

I really wish I had purchased the previous model as the new shoulder strap adjustment buckles are hard to adjust. I ride with different jackets or no jacket so I need to adjust the straps often. The older style bag uses the D-rings which the new bag still has for the waist adjustment. Other than that, the bag is flawless and amazing build quality. I love it.

I use the pack for my commute. My laptop, various papers worked on at home, lunch, personal papers etc all go in there, with room to spare for workout kit when necessary. I keep my jacket moisture liner in the back pocket. On the bike, the pack is barely noticable. It sits comfortably and the harnessing prevents any moving around of the bag or its contents. Only thing I would add is a center divider in the main compartment. I also have the cube (worn on the front harness)into which my wallet and phone are placed for the ride. Good job, Kiega....

I am a professional rider providing motorcycle tours. I use the R25 to pack all of my clothes, gear, and hydration. It is easy to use, easy to adjust, and doesn't kill my shoulders. I probably put more than 25 litres of stuff in it. It has been durable and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a quality back pack

I spent over a year looking for a pack for riding. Asking folks for imput on Bike sites as well. So I made the buy on the R25, got out yesterday for a test. I love this pack, being a hiker, I was sure it was going to sit right on me and not bunch, pinch or bother shoulders. The strap system is 1 of a kind. I have the cube also so I'm sure it will be OK. There is no wind drag or slop and anything flapping around like all the other packs I've used. Thanks Kriega, Jimbo.

I was a bit hesitant to pay this much for a backpack, but its well worth the money! Comfortable and well made. I can't comment for the durability since I have only had it for a few weeks. I originally thought it was a bit small for my daily load (laptop with sleeve, shoes, lunch, and misc, however everything fits with room to spare.

Doesn't have many organization options, but it is made of high quality materials and it's super comfortable. Worth the money and i would totally buy this bag again.

If you are one of those people who are using a "normal" back pack for your daily commute - and struggle to pull the straps over your jacket and get it comfortable...and get a light beating due to those loose straps flapping in the wind - you need to try this back pack.
The harness needs adjusting only once and thereafter pulling the pack on is a doddle (with no loose straps to flap in the wind). This pack is easily big enough for a weekend trip if you pack carefully.
The build quality is fantastic and the no drag factor means it disappears on your back and you forget you have a pack on.
No it is not cheap, but it will be the past Day Pack you buy.

The R25 is the best motorcycle backpack I've ever owned. no one even comes close to quality, reliability and comfortability. For a motorcycle rider this stuff is a must have.
