Step 1: Loosen Kriega buckle to lengthen waist strap.
Step 2: Attach pack around waist and use quick release buckle to make preliminary waist adjustment. Tuck away the loose strap end under the elastic loop / side pod.
Step 3: Thereafter, use Kriega alloy buckle to make fine adjustments. Use loop on left wing to prevent pack moving when adjusting fit.
Optional 0.5L add-on pocket. Fits to 38mm webbing/waist-strap. YKK water-resistant zip and 3M Scotchlite reflective print (see Kube pocket link below)

The bag (R8 waistpack) performed spectacularly on the trip and did not even get wet from a hail/rain squall that I went through. Kriega really is top notch gear and I will highly recommend it to all my riding friends.

I wore the R8 throughout the Dakar Rallye in 2010. It gave me ample carrying space for food and spare gloves/lenses etc as well as all the bizarre documentation you have to have with you. It got crashed and bashed and generally abused yet apart from looking a bit dusty was as good as new. It also made an acceptable pillow in my tent at the bivouac. Thanks Kriega.
