The product is of great quality. But it's a lot of extra complexity for being waterproof. And the strap system has to be fiddled with and adjusted any time the cargo volume changes. I would likely have been better off with a semi-rigid setup. Especially since I virtually never ride in the rain. It would also be nice if the straps snapped together when the bag is removed (mail on the left, female on the right).

I use the US-10 as my daily bag to hold anything from extra gloves to full raingear, and it seems like I can always squeeze something extra into it. It feels very secure with the mounting straps provided, and with a few velcro strips you can manage the excess straps with ease. I highly recommend this product and have been showing it off to friends and family every chance I get.

I bought this piece to use with the hydro3, alternating it with a US5. Plan to use it starting tomorrow for an 8 day ride. I will know more by the end. Seems voluminous compared to the US5. Not a fan of the newer mounting system with just the aluminum hooks looped back on themselves. I would prefer straps through the back and front loops on the 10 and through the loops on the Hydro3. I am using the Hypalon reinforced straps that came with the US5 and hooking the hooks through them. Might be using it as a cooler with ice and a couple drinks. Just as well made as the rest of Kriega stuff. Should be great for the extra capacity as long as I don't weigh it down with too much stuff.

The little details in all the Kriega products is amazing. This pack is exactly what I needed for short trips. It can easily fit a change of clothes and toiletries. love this! If I was going to be out for more than 3 days I would probably want the US-20 though.

impressive construction. Fits my Kriega R25 pack as well as my Fz1 great. This had an Adirondack deluge baptism recently, contents remained perfectly dry. Kriega shipping and communication are exemplary, as is the quality. I really like Alpinestars stuff too as well but I have to say Kriega makes them look like the walmart brand ;)

I was looking for a pack for my Ducati Hyper 1100. I checked out several bags and this one seemed to make the most sense. I ordered it from their website and received it several days later. It was easy to 'install' and I couldn't be happier. It's like this bag was made for my bike. I haven't taken a ride in the rain yet but I love knowing that the bag is waterproof to protect my gear. I totally recommend this bag!

The US-10 Drypack is used to augment my Hydro-3 Enduro backpack. The US-10 is well made, easy to use and maintain. It has not let any rain water through. I have not tested its water-tightness during an inadvertent swimming session when out trail riding. It is versatile and adaptable. Attaching it to a fixed object is easy using the supplied buckle loops and Alloy Hook Straps. Attaching it to a dynamic object like the Hydro-3 Enduro backpack leaves something to be desired. As the width of the Hydro-3 decreases as the water bladder is emptied during a ride, the alloy hook straps become progressively slack. The alloy hooks can become disconnected when this happens, so there is a chance of losing the pack. For the record, I have not lost my US-10 Drypack in this matter. I have had an alloy hook become disconnected. Having to stop and adjust the straps during a ride is annoying. Depending on how you configure the straps,, two of them may be ‘inside out”, thus adjusting them necessitates removing them completely. I realize the US-10 is part of a modular system, but surely it wouldn’t be too difficult make a more secure system for use with the Hydro-3, especially considering Kriega’s design prowess.
KRIEGA COMMENT: we can supply alternative straps for this purpose - please drop us a line if you need them. Thanks!
