Description

Upgraded Alloy Edition! The Kriega UScombo40 is a 40-liter capacity (US-20 + 1 x US-10) 100% waterproof, modualr tail pack system. Unique design solution secures the 'base' US-20 bag directly to the motorcycle sub-frame beneath the seat using included webbing buckle loops and Alloy Hook Straps (see Alloy Hook Strap page for details). The 2 x US-10 stack securely on either side of the US-20, using two further included sets of Alloy Hook Straps. The US-20 also comes equipped with removable shoulder and waist straps, so it can be carried courier style, on or off the bike. The US-10 or US-20 can be used individually or as a UScombo30 (US-10 attached to the top of the US-20). Once connected together they can be removed as one single luggage 'block'. The US-10 can also be used as an expansion pack for any Kriega motorcycle backpack. And equaly, it and the US-20 can also be used as tank bags, with the addition of am optional US Tank adaptor.

Mesh Base

Base anti-slip mesh also doubles as a pocket to store the shoulder and waist straps when the US-20 is attached to the bike. The shoulder strap connects to the large D-rings at each end of the pack and the waist strap connects to 2 tucked-away buckles at the corners of the mesh pocket (US-20).

Fitting Instructions

The Kriega UScombo40 motorcycle luggage solution is designed to fit most race-rep and regular style seat pads (all fitting straps included). The Drypack(s) are easily attached / removed via the included webbing loops / Alloy Hook Straps. No extra bungees or rain covers are required (see US-20 page for 'base' bag fitting instruction). 1 x US-10 can attach to the top of the US-20, or 2 x US-10 can attach to the sides of the US-20. To fit in UScombo40 configuration: fit the US-20 'base' bag to the bike (see US-20 page for instructions) and pack out, then insert US-10 Alloy Hooks in the dedicated webbing loops on the upper and lower surfaces of either side of the 'base' US-20 bag and cinch down secures. Secure loose strap ends with supplied Strap Keepers. Once connected the three packs can be removed from the bike as one luggage 'block'.

Kriega US packs can also be used effectively on motorcycle racks or metal pannier tops by attaching 1 x set of the supplied webbing buckle loops to the item in question and following the same prodceedure as fitting to a motorcycle.

Kriega US tail packs can be removed from the motorcycle by using the quick-release clips on the top, or by slackening the straps and unhooking. When carrying off the motorcycle, the Alloy Hooks can be secured in webbing loops on the base of the bag and the straps pulled tight, to prevent them swinging around. Alternatively, the entire straps can be unclipped and stored in the mesh pocket.

Full instruction sheets are supplied with all Kriega bags and Alloy Hook Strap sets, but you can also download digital versions here (mouseover your chosen set of Kriega instructions and the full image and click on the 'download' file icon).

Very pleased with my purchase 5 star rating

Very well made and it attaches to my bike so well. I really like how solid it is affixed to the rear rack on my KTM 990 ADV. It also kept all my contents bone dry after a 80 mile trip through a big rain storm.

    Hidden Treasures! 5 star rating

    Hi:

I ordered the US 40 combo because I read good reviews about Kriega.

Wow! Was I surprised! These are great products with excellent quality for motorcycle (ab)use. The kit was all of the best quality and fit. You can install it on any bike I bet!

I have installed it on a Triumph Bonneville T100 and also a Harley Davidson Crossbones with no issues whatsoever.

These products are a hidden treasure for motorcyclists! I have been riding for more than 45 years and have not come up on a product as versatile and well made as this one! On a sea of high brand/priced chinese made stuff, these products are well worth the price you pay and I dare say a bargain for the quality and if if you use them on a daily basis

    awesome 5 star rating

I just bought you product and tested it on a trip i just took from Chicago to Toronto, Canada and I must say that I am disappointed. I knew about your product years ago but had problems spending the money. I'm disappointed that i didn't purchased them earlier. <---- i always wanted to write a review starting as such :D You bags are awesome! I have a 2008 1000rr and the bags are very sturdy and definitely waterproof. I attached 4 of the provided straps to make two that were placed under the seat as anchors. I bought the 40liter package 1(20L) 2(10L). I was able to carry a change of clothes for three days. 3 pants, socks, t-shirts, underwear and a belt in the 20L. in 1(10L) i carried my rainsuit, gloves, and pair of Converse, and a few snacks. In the other i had toiletries, and emergency kit, and a few tools. I was caught in three storms on the way back and not a thing got wet. I will have to purchase another 20L to eliminate the backpack I used which didn't do well for my back. The price for product for this trip alone was well worth it. Everything stayed in place. I PACKED my bags without fear of breaking and my things stayed completely dry. I will now use these bags for my small commutes around the city since i know that they work.

    Kriega US40 5 star rating

Used my US40 in all the various combinations and always sits rock solid on my Ducati 848. 8hrs riding through heavy all day rain in Germany and Austria and my gear was bone dry. Unlike my mates who didn't have Kriega luggage.
Also have the R25 which is the best and most comfortable rucksack I've ever had.
    Well done boys!!

3k miles and counting 5 star rating

I recently set up my DR650 with a UScombo40 drypack system. Strapped down conveniently on the tail rack of my DR650, the bags were very very secure. I used the 20liter drybag for my netbook computer, tool kit, and clothes, and the outer 10liter drybags for snack items and general access items on a 3k mile cross country commute from Alabama to Washington this past January 2012. I was rained on for over 1200 miles and not a single thing was damp, ever.

These bags are EXCELLENT quality, very durable, and carry a fantastic 10 year warranty. For soft luggage at this price point, I don't see any reason to purchase any brand other than Kriega.

    UScombo40 5 star rating

Just thought I would let you know that I am really happy with my UScombo40 and R15 luggage set. I ride a Multistrada, and I was never happy with the Ventura rack set up, it hung way out the back, but I couldn't face it forward because it would push against me, and the whole thing used to rock back and forth, so was always expecting something to break. So I bought the Kriega gear and I love it. So well designed and constructed, just reeks quality, and it fits on my bike really well, nice and low and not too wide, and so versatile, with all the possible combinations.....Anyway thanks again, and no doubt I will have people asking me about it, and I won't hesitate to refer them to you.
